Investigate a publisher performance change

  1. Check filled versus total ad requests

Use counts from the same reporting period and confirm how the platform defines the metric. The ratio alone cannot identify the cause of no-fill.

  2. Compare viewable and measurable impressions

Keep the reporting definitions consistent. This calculator uses supplied counts rather than measuring an ad on your page.

  3. Organize the next investigation

Combine matching-domain scan evidence with the metrics you enter. Missing data remains unknown instead of becoming a fabricated health score.

Questions about ADXProbe

Can low fill rate alone explain lower advertising revenue?

No. Revenue can also change with impression volume, auction prices, deductions and other factors. Investigate matching reports before attributing the change to one ratio.

Does the ad-size preview test a live placement?

No. It is a labelled local placeholder. Check production slot width, responsive size mapping and real ad delivery separately.

Useful evidence. Clear limits.

Choose a tool, enter your own numbers or public website information, and review the result. Every report separates what was observed from what still needs a human review. No invented approval scores.

Your inputs stay yours.

Calculations and pasted-text checks run in your browser. Live scans send only your supplied public domain to the configured backend. We never ask for Google passwords, account access or API keys.

Publisher tools: methods & instructions

AdX Readiness Checker

Checks HTTPS, homepage text, recognizable policy links, ads.txt and indexing directives. A fetched link is evidence of a link, not a review of its contents.

AdSense Website Readiness

This advisory review cannot inspect your AdSense account, verify content rights or determine approval. Review Google policies manually.

Ads.txt Live Checker

Retrieves the root /ads.txt over HTTPS. Syntax does not prove seller authorization. Network failures and missing files are reported separately.

Open Ads.txt Live Checker →

Ads.txt Syntax Validator

Paste plain text to check three required seller fields, the optional certification ID and supported ads.txt 1.1 directives. Runs locally.

Ads.txt Generator

Use the advertising-system domain and seller account ID supplied by your monetization provider. We never generate or verify real seller IDs.

App-ads.txt Checker

Fetches /app-ads.txt from the supplied developer domain. App-store developer website links, ownership and package identity need separate verification.

Sellers.json Checker

Checks a domain’s root /sellers.json, or pasted JSON. Confidential entries may legitimately omit name and domain; confidentiality alone is not evidence of fraud. Files over 2 MB are explicitly refused by live scans.

SupplyChain Validator

Supports SupplyChain 1.0 objects and common bid-request wrappers. Validates ver, complete, nodes, asi, sid and hp. Structure alone cannot prove supply-chain authenticity.

GAM Tag Inspector

Static heuristic inspection of pasted Google Publisher Tag code. The code is never executed. Dynamic paths, comments and variable-based sizes may need manual review.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Can ADXProbe approve my website for AdX or AdSense?

No. Google or the applicable authorized process decides approval. ADXProbe offers independent technical checks and manual-review guidance.

Why do live checks need a backend?

Browsers restrict many cross-origin website requests. A configured scanning backend retrieves permitted public files safely. Without it, live tools show “Live Scan Not Configured”; local tools remain usable.

Does a valid ads.txt file prove seller authorization?

No. Valid formatting only establishes that a file follows supported syntax. Confirm the account ID and commercial relationship with the advertising provider.

Are revenue projections guaranteed?

No. They are calculations from your assumptions. Actual demand, geography, viewability, consent, invalid traffic deductions and reporting definitions affect outcomes.

Can these tools rank in Google or appear in AI answers?

Useful original content and sound technical SEO support discovery, but rankings, indexing and AI recommendations are never guaranteed. Separate tool pages can be developed later with their own unique explanations and functionality.

Ad Viewability Calculator: Viewable & Measurable Ads

How is ad viewability percentage calculated?

Divide viewable impressions by measurable impressions and multiply by 100. Enter matching report counts in this ad viewability calculator. It performs arithmetic on supplied measurements; it does not measure the visibility of ads on your website.

The interactive tool is loading below. If it does not appear, enable JavaScript or open the tool from the directory.

When to use this tool

Active View and other reporting systems distinguish measurable, viewable and total impressions. Use the denominator required by the metric you are checking. Do not interpret a percentage calculated from all impressions as the same measure when some were not measurable.

How to use this calculator

  1. Collect viewable impressions and measurable impressions for the same report.
  2. Enter those counts rather than using all served impressions as an automatic substitute.
  3. Calculate the rate and investigate measurement and placement context separately.

Worked calculation

6,000 viewable impressions out of 8,000 measurable impressions produce 75% viewability. If total served impressions were 10,000, that total would describe a different denominator and would not produce the supported measurable-impression rate.

How to interpret the result

An impression can be served without yielding a measurable viewability observation. Keep measurability and viewability separate when comparing reports. The calculator computes a supplied ratio; it does not run a measurement script or determine whether an individual impression met a viewability standard.

What this tool cannot establish

No ad-view measurement, consent assessment or automatic placement audit is performed. Use the definitions and measurement method applicable to your platform.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool measure my live ad slots?

No. It calculates from the counts you supply.

Are measurable impressions the same as all impressions?

Not necessarily. Use the report’s measurable-impression figure for this formula.
